Juvenile Liaison Officers
The Garda Juvenile Diversion Programme was introduced in 1963 to provide an opportunity to divert juvenile offenders from criminal activity. It is implemented throughout all Garda divisions by specially trained Gardai, known as Juvenile Liaison Officers (JLOs). There are 5 JLOs in the DMR South Central Division.
